When to go

October to April is the most comfortable fishing season in Abu Dhabi, and early morning or the last hours before sunset are usually the most productive. In summer, an early start avoids the midday heat.

What you might catch

Depending on the season and the spot, guests often meet hammour (grouper), kingfish, sultan ibrahim, queenfish and trevally. Some species are protected during their breeding season and size limits apply; your captain follows the current rules and tells you what you can keep.
