On a donut ride you sit inside a big round inflatable that the boat pulls in wide turns, so it spins and bounces over the wake. It is an easy, no-skill ride, which makes it a favourite for groups of friends and families with older children.

Before you ride

• Bring an original passport or Emirates ID; it is required.
• Wear swimwear and bring a towel, sunscreen and a dry bag for your phone.
• Activities may pause in strong wind or high waves, for everyone's safety.
• October to April is the most comfortable season; in summer, morning and late-afternoon sessions are cooler.
